The area Surrounding the Apartment
The Acacias 2 apartment is located in an amazing area when it comes to tourism and connection to the rest of the city.
Embajadores is a multicultural neighborhood, where you can find people from all over the world giving it an ethnic richness, reflected in the amount of restaurants that offer a variety of gastronomic options, as well as small shops where you can find products from all over the world.
This -Castizo- neighborhood (named this way because it housed the popular social classes) still keeps some of its old constructions, but lately, new buildings are becoming part of the scenery.
For all art lovers, this location couldn’t be any better, since the Reina Sofia Museum is only a few streets away. Its great collections of contemporary art will amaze you and you will definitely fall in love with its great architectural design.
On Sundays a very interesting market takes place in Ribera de Curtidores Street (between La Latina and Embajadores):El Rastro. This traditional flea market is an institution for the Madrid citizens and a very attractive activity for tourists.
To see the rest of the city you can choose to take the bus, the metro and the Cercanias train, the three of them are at your disposal from the Embajadores and Acacias station.
